Just some oak, and some pine, and a handful of Norse men.

After getting home for Thanksgiving, I was told that Ikea has finally set up shop in my part of the world. See, I'd heard of them before. Even saw some funny commercials they did in England. But I'd never actually "been" to one(unless you count parking outside of one at the Mall of America)... and I was naturally intrigued by the promise of Meatballs while shopping.

Really makes me wish I had a place to put furniture :P

Well, the main reason for my post was to show what I had discovered from one of my favorite new artists... A song called "IKEA"

Jonathan Coulton - IKEA

If you like that song, you really need to check out the rest of Jonathan Coulton's stuff. He is a genius. Some of my Favs are "RE Your Brains" "Baby Got Back" and "Code Monkey". But all of them are great(especially seeing as he came up with them in one week)

Enjoy!

Birds got moves

Was recently given this URL by a friend and it just made my chuckle. So I figured I'd go ahead and share it with the world(though, I know its already floating around).

May I Have This Dance

The bird actually reminds me alot of my workmates African Grey Parrot, Pumba, in the way that it is very human... makes me wish I had a video recording of him laughing, cackling almost, that sounds just like my mate's mom. Very, very disturbing.

Blarg!

So, first blog.. yay!

Never really thought my thoughts would be of any interest to anyone. Hell, they barely interest me. But who knows... First, alil backstory. I'm 22 year old Floridian who is a geek/dork/nerd/whatever.. I may not look like it most the time, but its true. Other then that, I'm a traveling man at the moment. Finally got a job that gets me all over the country. I'm up in Minneapolis, MN at the moment. Maybe I'll just start blogg'n about all the different towns I'm sent to. Hmm.

Well, I doubt anyone will read this, but if you do, don't forget to hit the lights on the way out :P
